SAKAZUME Atsuo

Born in 1941 in Gumma Prefecture, Sakazume received the Associate Members Prize at the Japan Print Association Show in '73. He was awarded the Grand Prix at the '74 Print Grand Prix Exhibition, received a prize at the '74 New Hampshire International Print Show and the Kyoten Prize in the Kyoten Exhibition in '76. In '76 his work was chosen for the Kyoto ÅgYesterday Today TomorrowÅhexhibition and in '89 the Cultural Agency purchased his work. Recently, he has exhibited at the '97 and '00 Cracow International Print Triennales. |
